the Monthly Wrap - July 2026

What’s New?

Check Out Our Cherries!

Cherry Knit Alpaca Scarf

This month, we’re celebrating one of Montana’s sweetest summer traditions: Flathead Lake Cherries. Their deep reds, glossy skins, and orchard‑row geometry have inspired a new scarf design that bring that iconic harvest into textile form.

Our new repeating cherry pattern is a playful nod to the fruit stands that line the lake each July. Each scarf is knit in a crisp two‑color jacquard that highlights the round cherry forms. Available in three striking variations: Bright red cherries with either black, white or purple companion color.

A Flutter of Color

Dragonfly Knit Alpaca Scarf

We’re also introducing a second repeating design inspired by the dragonflies that skim across Flathead’s shoreline. Their delicate wings translate beautifully into a rhythmic jacquard repeat. Available in two color choices: turquoise or green.

Every version is 100% alpaca, soft, warm, and made right here in Montana.

Shout Out to The handMADE Montana Team

This month, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Handmade Montana. Their dedication to uplifting local artisans is felt in every detail of the shows they organize — from the thoughtful vendor support to the welcoming atmosphere that makes both makers and shoppers feel at home.

The recent event was a standout: beautifully run, full of energy, and packed with the kind of community spirit that keeps Montana’s creative scene thriving. Handmade Montana continues to create space where artists can share their work, connect with customers, and be part of something bigger than themselves. We’re grateful for their hard work, their vision, and the way they champion small businesses across the state.

Here’s to the team that helps keep Montana’s maker community vibrant.
