Growth through Agriculture

Processing raw fiber from animals into useable yarn and then further into complete garments requires numerous specialized machines. These machines have only one purpose and are neither readily available, nor easily obtained. Very few manufacturers produce fiber mill equipment, and even fewer of them are in the U.S.. The high purchase price, import fees and freight costs add to the high start-up costs for mills.

Thankfully, the State of Montana offers programs to help businesses like ours to support agricultural jobs in the state and add value to agricultural commodities, which is exactly our business model. Through a competitive process we competed for a grant to help offset some of the equipment costs. We are honored and humbled that we were awarded a grant through the Growth through Agriculture (GTA) program. We cannot wait to showcase how this business grows with the support from our own state!
